Farewell, Icon Baxter Bently

I am really getting behind and I apologize. All of these farewell posts seem to be taking a bit of a toll on me. I will get them all done, though.

Icon Baxter Bentley was a very loving cat toward his humans. He seemed to more tolerate the other cats in his life than really get along with them. He had a lot of other cats in his life, because his Mom is a foster Mom and takes in foster cats and kittens on a regular basis. Icon was really never mean to the fosters, but he did whap them and growl at them if they got too close to him. Icon really loved to play with toys, but he didn't play much at all with other cats, even the ones who lived with him permanently. He got a neurological condition in his lumbar spine and it made life miserable for him in a very short time. He had to be helped to the Bridge because of pain and paralysis. I don't really know if he went gently, but I bet he was glad to go, where he could be well again.

Icon just got sicker and sicker.
His Mom wanted to help him quicker.
                                            Icon Baxter Bentley
                                            To the Bridge went gently.
Now he runs and runs, quicker and quicker.

That was a beautiful tribute to Icon. He will be missed, but I know he's much happier to be pain free.

We did not know Icon very well, but we are sure he is running free now and will purr for his family.

All these farewells are making us very sad too, Karen Jo. There have been so many recently. Mom just about fell apart when we read the news that Sen-Chan had to go to the bridge.

I like to visualize Icon that way, playing happily at the Bridge (with all our friends).

It's ok if you're running a bit behind. Farewell posts are very tiring. We luffed Icon a whole bunch. We shall all miss him.

Very nice memorial to Icon Baxter Bentley.

There are just so many leaving in a short period of time. It would take a toll on you.

It has been a terribly sad time, with so many kitties going to the Bridge. My mom's eyes are leaking.
Thanks for your nice comment for Misty. Mom is very worried and sad.

We are sure that Icon Baxter Bentley is now pain free, and keeping all the other kitties at the bridge in line.

I'm gonna miss Icon. He was a cool dood, and I just wish he hadn't been in any pain at all. :(
