This is Sen-Chan, looking wise and thoughtful. He was an Abyssinian and a very sweet cat. He loved to cuddle and play. He was a very good cat, never scratching the furniture and he always played nicely with Tom and Tama-Chan. He was adopted when he was three months old and when he was four months old, Tom the dog, who was three months old at the time joined the family. Sen-Chan took to Tom right away. He also welcomed Tama-Chan to the family when she joined a bit later. He was sickly as a little kitten, but he grew out of that. He did have a series of kitty colds, but nothing serious until just before the end. When he lost his appetite, he went to the vet. The tests showed that he had Feline Leukemia. The vet was writing out treatment for him when he had a massive heart attack right there and ran away to the Rainbow Bridge. He was only 16 months old, a month younger than Castor. His family are heartbroken.
Feline Leukemia took Sen-Chan.
He was much too young; now he is gone.
He ran far away
To the Bridge to play.
Have lots of fun there, beloved Sen-Chan.

This was really stunning news. He was a gorgeous little kitty.
That's a really lovely limerick for Sen-Chan
Sen-Chan will be missed. That is a wonderful limerick in memory.
how tragic, what a young kitteh to cross the bridge. My parents kitty crossed the bridge a few months ago, but she was 15 years old.
Oh dear, that is so sad. What a terrible thing to happen to such a young kitty. We are so sorry.

How sad and so young !
I scrolled through your blog and see that there are so many farewells ! I watch my old Lisa (17) but she eats like a horse, still washes herself but otherwise has become a little slow and it's difficult for her to jump on a chair, but she still lakes a little walk through the garden. Hopefully she will stay with us like all our other cats at least 20 years !
