Spooky Do

As promised, today it's back to the limericks. As it is Halloween week, I am doing only black and orange cats. Above is Spooky Do, doing his best to live up to his name. I think that Spooky Do is the largest of the cats in his house and he is now quite the mellow guy. He welcomed Nelly and Anakin into the family without any fuss. Aniwa likes to attack him, but it never goes beyond the wrestling match stage and they are often seen grooming each other. Spooky Do's favorite thing is to climb into containers: bags, boxes, plastic bins. He has a favorite blue plastic bin that he often naps in. He loves to chew on plastic grocery bags, just to hear them crackle, perhaps. He likes to get up on a high shelf to keep an eye on what is going on.

Spooky Do likes to sit in boxes.
He jumps right in and settles his 'tockses
                                                       To look at the world
                                                       Before him unfurled.
He also likes to nap in his boxes.

What a fun limerick, Karen Jo! We like to settle our 'Tockses in boxes every chance we get, too!

We just caught up on your last few posts, and we are very glad you're not going to try to do every tribute post. Sometimes they make us to sad to read, too, so we can only imagine how sad it must make you!

And new one the one or two kitties? We are very excited for you and them! We also are a little bit jealous because they will have so many bird feeders to watch!

Umm... that last paragraph should start out as "Any news on the one or two kitties"... sheesh. Sometimes Mom types very badly.

I am so honored that you said you would do a limerick about me. But on the other hand I am red with the face because you thought I was hinting. Oh my, I would never do that. I just plain really enjoy the stories and limericks. Oh my.

I love Gracie's comment about dying her hair black!!! I was thinking all I needed was a black Sharpie to fill in the white and I'd fit right in!

I better not give Glogirly any ideas though because she's got a Sharpie in every color!

Spooky do has a permanent Halloween costume, lol ! I am only happy for him that he didn't live in the middle age !
My very first cat was also black and lived for 20 years !

That's a great photo and limerick.
Maybe Luna can get something for Hallowe'en week? After all, she is a black cat and also hosting Weekend Cat Blogging Hallowe'en Edition :)

Both the photo and the Limerick are terrific. I also enjoyed reading about your bird feeding. My Dad is a very devoted feeder of birds. I am curious about the no waste seed, since we do have a big problem with the hulls on the ground, snd they tend to kill the grass.

Spooky Do is quite the handsome ManCat and looks so cute by the black pumpkin. The orange and black in the picture looks stunning. He is a fellow box lover too. As always Karen Jo, love the limericks.
