Goodbye for Now

It really pains me to have to do this, especially after all the nice comments I just got, but I have to stop blogging for a while. My Mother has become very fragile and often needs me during the night. This means that I have to go to bed as early as possible in order to get enough sleep and that leaves no time for blogging. I am not totally disappearing, I hope. I will try to visit some when I can, but I simply do not have the time to research or write posts any more. I won't be gone forever, but it may be quite a while before I post again. I will miss you all very much.

We will miss you Karen Jo. G, G & W

The Mom here. I'm so sorry you're mother is ill. I have both of my parents living with me. My Dad is going to be 81 in December and my Mother will be 75 next month. While they are both healthy at the moment, they've both had mild heart attacks and my mother has also had a stroke, so I completely understand. Don't feel bad for even a moment. Would you just pop in when you can to let us know you're OK?

Big Hugs to your and your mother.

KarenJo, we totally understand. Daily blogging can be very hard at times and requires a lot of time. Caring for aging persons is also very hard mentally and physically.
We hope you pop in once in a while to let us know how you are doing. We are your friends, and we wish the best for you.
Make sure to put aside some time,
just for you!!

I'm sorry to hear about your Mother's condition. Of course, taking care of her comes first. Please let us know occasionally how you are.

I'm so sorry that your mom is not well. It is hard to be a care giver because you get so little rest sometimes. We will be thinking of you and hoping all turns out for the best. Sincerely, T. & Sinda

Hello Karen Jo,It is me Genghis, come to visit you, and I guess I couldn't have picked a worse time.I have perused your blog in some length and found you are such a talented person. I love your limericks(especially the one you wrote about my brofur dale. My family and I were so sad when Dale went to the Rainbow bridge that even when we visited with some of the wonderful kitties & people who came to offer their condolences - they kind of existed in a blur - but we appreciated every visitor.)
Mothers are very important - some times we don't think so - but they are. So It is good that you are setting time aside to help care for yours while she is sick. Take all the time you need till you have peace and balance in your life - we will wait.

Purrs,
Genghis

Hugs,
Penny

Real life is always more important than innernets.
I will purr for you and your mom.
My mom also visits her parents every week. They are 85. Every day is a another day to love those you care about.
And me! I am 18 and a half now... mom says every day is a blessing for me.

I will be thinking about you.
You are not alone. we also have just a little time to visit.
