I really want to thank all of you who have expressed concern over the state of my toes. I had no idea that so many of you would care so much that you mentioned me in your blogs and wrote poems and limericks to me. I am very deeply touched by it all. My toes are doing fine. The healing process has started and I can walk pretty normally again. My two big toenails had to be removed because of a ferocious fungus infection that resisted everything my doctor could throw at it for over a year. The toenails were starting to loosen and I had to have them removed so that they would not snag on something and rip off. The nailbeds are still a little bit sensitive, but otherwise, everything is fine. Thank you all again for caring so much.
Daisy gave me a Thinking Blogger Award and I am still trying to figure out what to do with it. I appreciate it very much, but I need to learn how to imbed the links. I am also spending a lot of time trying to narrow down the field of blogs I want to pass it on to. I'll do something with it soon, I promise.

We hope that you can stop by to see last week's TT...we dedicated it to you!
Imbedding links is not hard! You haf to open the link with < and the letter a, then close it wif < an /a>. In between, you put href= and then http://www.whoever.com in quotes followed by anofur >. Here's one wif sum spaces so blogger doesn't make it a link:
< a href="http://kittylimericks.blogspot.com"> type text here< /a >
Just change the web address an text, keepin the same punchuashion. Hope that's clear!
I's glad yur toes is feelin better. Mom's kindergarten teacher wore sandals alla time an had really gnarly lookin toes. Mom couldn't help but stare at them. Purrs!
Oh, the extra spaces was round the < and >.
So glad to hear you are on the mend. I tried and tried and tried to write a limerick. Even got KC and Missy to help, but to no avail. But you have/had all our thoughts and prayers...and a few purrs.

We Ballicai are so glad your toes are feeling better. It sounds like they were very painful there for a while. So glad you're healing well!
And how great that Daisy gave you a Thinking Blogger Award! It's well-deserved. You have a wonderful, warm-hearted blog, and your limericks always make Momma smile.
