This has been a really bad weekend for the Cat Blogosphere. Friday night Forest snuck out of the house. She had never been outside on her own before and probably got really scared by all the new sights, smells and sounds. I don't know why it is, but scared cats seem to run straight for the road. She was hit by a car and Omer found her Saturday morning after looking for her all night. I have been reading Snow and Forest's blog since it started and I am really going to miss her, but not nearly as much as Snow, Leo, Fairy and Omer. I am so sad I can hardly stand it, but I know that what I am feeling is not a patch on what they are feeling. Goodbye, sweet Forest, have a wonderful time at the Rainbow Bridge.
On Sunday Lucy, Moki's sister also went to the Bridge suddenly. She was napping in a sunspot and just never woke up. She was the family jester and will be greatly missed. She's probably cracking up all the other kitties at the Rainbow Bridge right now.

We are terribly sad, too. We are purring for their families. We are going to miss them.
Karen Jo, That's a nice tribute to both Forest and Lucy - you're right, it has been a really sad weekend. Like Gandalf and Grayson, we're purring for their families left behind...

Oh dear...I don't likes it when my friends go over the place called the Bridge. Mine Mummy and the Giant Kitty tells me it's a nice place that we all have to go someday, but why do some have to go first? Why can't we all go together? Then I won't miss them so much!
We keep losing so many of our wonderful friends. I am so very, very sad. :(
It is so hard to say goodbye to our friends.
You are the BEST Karen Jo. May both kitties be led by God and Goddess to the rainbow bridge and may their family and friends, like you and me, find peace. God bless you Karen Jo.
Mommy Bean says "the good die young" I's not sure what that means but it must mean that those two are furry impawtant.

Yes, this was a sad month. Too many, too early. We will always keep them in our hearts.
We Ballicai are so sad about our friends who have gone to the Bridge. They were very much loved and will be very much missed.
What a sweet and lovely tribute, Karen Jo.
Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!
Yes, losing Forest in such a way was quite a blow. We will miss her. And thankfully her family will continue to blog.
We didn't know Lucy as well since she didn't blog but we know she is greatly missed by all at Moki's home.
