Scooby
Scooby is Shaggy's brother. They are from the same litter, though you would never know it to look at them. One thing that really distinguishes Scooby from Shaggy and Scout, besides being a tuxie, is that he can be let out into the yard without restraint. Shaggy used to be let out, until he took off down the street one day. Now he has to wear a harness and leash when he goes out. Scout was never let out, but he escaped one day and Scooby spotted him in the neighbor's yard and alerted Mom. Now Scout has a harness and leash, too. Scooby is content to stay in his own yard to patrol the grounds and sample the grass.
Scooby is the responsible one.
Mom can let him out and he won't run.
He stays in his yard,
Which isn't hard,
For there is much patrolling to be done.

He looks very elegant in his tuxedo, lol ! Cute cat !
Goodness, thank all of you for all your wonderful get well wishes. My surgery went fine and I can put my feet down long enough to work on my computer again. I had to have my toenails removed because of a very stubborn fungus that resisted everything my doctor could throw at it. There was danger of them catching on something and tearing out, so they had to be removed. I'll be around to see you all again very soon. The limericks will continue shortly.
So glad to see you back and glad the surgery went well. Bet you are glad the nails won't be around to tear out. That, I think, would be more hurtful than the surgery. Scooby you are a very good cat. I don't have to worry about Casper either when he is outside, because he is a good boy. The other three jump the fence when they get the chance.
Karen Jo, keep up on the resting for awhile and God Bless.
