Dona Nobis Pacem

Thank you very much to The Meezers: Miles, Sammy, Billy and Meezermom for putting this lovely graphic together for me. I was unable to do it myself.

I really do believe that the only way we will get world peace is for all of us to treat each other better as individuals. When no one is is desperate need and we can be content with what we have, there will be no more wars. It may sound terribly naive and it may be, but that is what I believe.

  8. Karen Jo,
I don't think it is naive at all. Maybe unrealistic at this juncture because of man's inability to reason beyond conflict.

Some day, maybe when 2012 rolls around, the Mayan date for man's enlightenment not the end of the world as some would have us think, but maybe then will be the perfect time to change our mindset.

    Peace.

  10. A friend recently returned from South Africa after an aid visit... He was there with a group, helping to renovate a building for a school and bringing donated books. The children, the people there in the shanty town were so very poor... but they sang, they felt joy. They didn't need shiny toys and gadgets, just a place to learn, food to eat, a warm blanket... and that made their hearts soar.

If those who have so little can find Peace in their heart, why can't we share and take care of each other and find Peace as well?

    It's not naive, it's lovely.

    Peace to you and yours.
