Farewell, Sasha

Sasha was adopted into Curly's family on December 12, 2008. This picture was taken the next day. You can just see a some of Curly in the background. The other cats were pretty miffed about Sasha's appearance in their home, but Curly even let Sasha share her bed, for a little while, anyway. Sasha was always wanting to play with the kitties and Curly would play with her. They had some great wrestling matches and even a good romp in the snow. On March 6th, there was a terrible accident and Sasha went to the Rainbow Bridge. She was only four months old. Her whole family is just devastated. Now she's romping and playing with all the other woofies and kitties at the Rainbow Bridge.

Sasha was quite a lively pup
Until an accident tripped her up.
To the Bridge she did go
And though it brings us woe,
She's running and playing, this lively pup.
