Ruis' sister Maxime went to the Rainbow Bridge Thursday. She had been ill off and on for some time. She had a long and happy life, but it still really hurts to have to say goodbye. I know that Miral was waiting for her at the Bridge, ready to show her around. Emil, Anastasia and Ralph would have been nearby to greet her as well. Ruis was very fond of Maxime and is really hurting right now, so go over and offer some hugs.
Maxime stole softly and silently away.
She knew it was time to end her stay.
We will miss her dearly
But it helps us, nearly,
To know that now she is forever at play.
Maxime has always been a favorite friend of ours... we are sad to have her leave us, but she is joining some treasured family and friends.
ReplyDeleteThe bridge sure has opened it's gates to a lot of friends lately. (((HUGS)))
ReplyDeletemaxime was a very pretty cat.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like one after another, doesn't it? So sad to lose any of these precious furry friends. But Maxime was a sudden shock. She was an adorable kitty.
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad sad time, so many of our friends gone.
ReplyDeleteWe know that she and Miral are dancing together over the Bridge, but it's still hard to lose another friend.
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful limerick Karen Jo.
It is sad to see her go. She had a wonderful life and that is so nice.
ReplyDeleteThere will be quite a crowd to greet her at the bridge and she is going with some pawsome company.
