Snow Limerick

This is what my patio and back yard looked like this morning.  I really like how the snow almost covers the lace vines on the back fence.  I decided to test my limericker to see if it was broken and came up with this:

Snow, when it falls, is fluffy and light.
It reflects the street lights, brightening the night.
                                                 When it turns to slush
                                                  (That horrible mush)
I wish it would simply melt out of sight.

The limericker is working and now the Cyclone Cats have volunteered to be subjects, so the kitty limericks should be back very soon.

  6. You are so talented! We love reading your limericks. Mommy has you on her "favorites" at work so she can read them there (in secret, she can't always comment cause the computer is right out in front of everyone.) She will try to comment more on your site when she works from home so you won't think we forget you. We never do!

How were your holidays. I'm sure they were harder this year, but you are in the thoughts of your friends always!

  7. What a great photo, to match a great limerick. Maybe the limerick is telling you to take a break every now and then, and that you are working too hard. It is okay to rest every now and then.

  12. That is a very pretty backyard scene. We think you should take a break every once in a while to rest your limericker. It might break down permanently if you use it too much. It obviously isn't broken now tho. Great job.

  13. Nice. I agree with the sentiment... Snow can be pretty but it would be nice if it just disappeared over night.

  15. That is so pretty and sparkly! Mom says she wishes it looked that that in Albquerque although slushy and mushy snow are no good. She likes skiing type snow...powdery and fluffy.
